a perfect day

As soon as we viewed Smeetham Hall Barn,we knew it was perfect for us. We had a large wedding (150 daytime guests) so we knew we needed a large versatile space which could accommodate this many guests for the wedding breakfast but also provide a large dance floor and enough space for reception drinks indoors if the weather wasn't good.Sophie and the team were so calm and friendly but also incredibly organised and responsive to any questions we had throughout the whole process. I never felt like any question we had were too much.On the day, the team were beyond incredible! We had various plans due to the uncertain weather forecast yet everything ran seamlessly. Their timing and ability to make everything flow without us even thinking about it is so appreciated.So many of our guests commented on how beautiful the barn looked, how much space both indoors and outdoors there was to enjoy and what an amazing atmosphere there was inside the barn throughout the evening especially with the live band.In terms of price, compared the other similar venues in the area we found the all inclusive package with catering amazing value. The food was so tasty and the portions are very generous!Thank you so much for the most perfect day, we are so grateful to everyone at Smeetham Hall.

Smeetham Hall, you made our day run incredibly smooth, your staff were attentive and supportive throughout our entire day and there was nothing we could have asked that would have been too much trouble. We could not have asked for a better bunch of people to have shared our day with. You truly are incredible. The venue was absolutely stunning, our guests were delighted with the entire day and we could not be more grateful for you guys. Thank you for your help setting up, keeping calm and stopping my breakdowns. You went above and beyond and if we could relive the day over and over - we’d still pick you. Thank you. magical day

We had our wedding on the 27 July 2024 at the beautiful Smeetham Hall. When we looked around it we both knew instantly is was the place we wanted to get married. Everyone there is so chilled and friendly it has a lovely family vibe which we really liked. I’m probably one of the most unorganised people there is! But I didn’t need to worry as Sophie and the team were outstanding, thinking of every detail. Splinters the food caterers again were so helpful and accommodating and the food was impeccable. Wilton and flower the accessory company knew exactly what we needed to give our wedding the wow factor. Highly recommend to use them on your wedding day. A big thing for us was to have our own corkage which smeetham offer. This helped keep some of our cost down but even if they didn’t off this we would have still got married there.We got married outside and it was truly breathtaking the views are stunning. Chris the videographer who comes with smeetham was awesome-even helping our photographer out with places to go photos as he knows the grounds like the back of his hand. I cannot rate smeetham highly enough magical day we will never forget. Thankyou ❤️
